This album is a slight departure from previous Splash Pets releases to date. There are no drums or percussion on this record. It was not recorded to a click track, just Jos" foot tap. There are actually only two songs on the record with words and vocals. Most of the album is instrumental, more acoustic meets, electronic, ambient sounding. Jos laid down guitar tracks, then the recorded synth parts. Some of the previous Splash Pets records were busier, and more of a challenge to the listener. I hope these recordings are more pleasant, enjoyable, and relaxing to listen to! There are four more tracks from these sessions to be released as a seperate E.P. to be released in 2018. Special thanks to Sharon Rose for the album art cover photo. It was taken in the upper peninsula of Michigan on Lake Superior by the Ship Wreck Museum. Peepers and Boo-Boo her kitties were inserted to snazz the art up a wee bit!
